What We’re All About

Noah’s Ark Rescue, Inc., is a small, foster based, volunteer run rescue. We believe every dog deserves a loving home, and strive to make that happen. With the experience and expertise of our board of directors, as well as our dedicated team of volunteers, we not only help dogs in shelters, but also help keep dogs in loving homes that may have fallen on tough times, or need to re home their pet for various reasons.

Nancy Blevins – Secretary/Treasurer 

Nancy is originally from Missouri and relocated to Florida in 2013.  Her gentle and loving nature is often seen while she works as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.  She’s taken that same care and devotion, and used it as a volunteer for various rescues over the past 20 years.   Nancy has had several dogs over the years, and all were rescues except one.  She recently lost 2 pitties in the last 18 months, but honors their memory through her rescue work, and her remaining pit mix at home.  As soon as her heart heals, Nancy plans on adopting another rescue.  Her husband loves dogs as much as she does, and they know once they are ready, they’ll rescue another wonderful dog in need.
